About Whittled

Whittled is operated by Newotics LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company. By accessing whittledco.com or purchasing a Whittled product, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use this site.

Products

Whittled produces limited edition, laser-cut wooden jigsaw puzzles. Key product terms:

• Limited editions. Each edition is limited to the stated quantity (currently 500 per edition). Once an edition sells out, it will not be reprinted.
• Handmade variation. Whittled puzzles are produced by hand using precision laser-cutting equipment. Minor natural variation in wood grain and color is inherent to the material and not considered a defect.
• Pre-orders. Some products are offered for pre-order before they are ready to ship. Estimated ship dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. If a significant delay occurs, we will notify you by email and offer a full refund if requested.
• Numbering. Edition numbers are assigned in order of purchase. We do not accept requests for specific numbers.

Custom Puzzles

• Image ownership. By submitting a photo for a custom puzzle, you represent and warrant that you own the rights to that image or have written permission from the copyright holder to reproduce it commercially. Whittled is not responsible for any copyright claims arising from images you submit.
• No returns on custom orders. Because custom puzzles are made to order from your personal image, they are non-refundable except in the case of a production defect or damage during shipping.
• Turnaround time. Estimated production and shipping timelines for custom orders are provided at checkout. These are estimates and may vary.
• Image quality. We will advise you if your submitted image is too low resolution for a quality result. We reserve the right to decline orders where the image quality cannot produce an acceptable product.

The Lifetime Color Guarantee

Whittled stands behind the color quality of its puzzles. We warrant that the color on any Whittled puzzle will not fade, peel, or crack in your lifetime under normal display conditions. This warranty covers the color infusion process and does not cover physical damage, water damage from submersion, or damage from direct prolonged outdoor exposure. To make a warranty claim, contact us at matt@whittledco.com with your order number and a description of the issue.

Pricing and Payment

• All prices are in US dollars.
• We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Price changes do not affect orders already placed.
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card information.
• Sales tax is collected where required by law.

Shipping

• We ship to the United States and select international destinations.
• Shipping times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for carrier delays.
• Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery to the carrier. If your order is damaged in transit, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and we will work to resolve it.

Intellectual Property

All content on whittledco.com — including text, images, logos, and design — is owned by Newotics LLC or licensed for use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission. Artist partnership content remains the intellectual property of the respective artists as specified in their licensing agreements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Newotics LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or this website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Jefferson County, Kentucky.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance.
